Stretched KR2 Boat and Grove Gear For Sale.

     This is a KR2S boat that has been stretched.  An additional 2" has been added ahead of the front spar and an additional  " has been added aft.  The Boat has also been widened.

     From firewall to front of the front spar is 27 inches.  From the front spar to the end of the fuselage in 10'7".   The fuselage width is 38 1/2' at the rear spar and 41 1/2 "wide at the front spar.  This gives a plane that is stretched longer and wider than a standard KR2S.  It Should make for a very comfortable cross-country airplane.  You will need a 100 hp engine for this plane.

       There is a one piece Grove gear rated form1200 lbs.  It is gun drilled for the brake lines.   The gear alone sells for over $1200.00   The gear is attached with angle brackets per Grove specs.   Also included is a set of cowling "skins" from Mark Langford's cowl molds.  They can be used to fabricate your cowl.  Also a set of two 5" tires and wheels from a KR2.  The tires are weathered, but can be used while building.

The center spars need to be replaced.  The boat can be fitted with spars made from KR plans, or complete spars purchased from Aeromax Aviation, or from Steve Glovers Company.
