Southern BBQ and Fly in March 15, 2008
The wind was gusting to 21 knots, the skies were overcast, but
still they came. From Fort Scott, Kansas, from Ft Lauderdale Florida, from
Alabama, from La Grange Georgia, they came. We looked at planes, talked of
5th bearings, discussed engines, and ate lots of BBQ. By the
end of the day, the sky had cleared, and people left for home feeling they had
renewed friendships and had a good time. Everybody left looking forward to
the next time.
