Managua (MNMG) Regarding customs and immigration, Managua is easy for entering but a real experience to depart. Check international NOTAMs for fuel. The bad news is that the last time I was there, fuel was over US$7.00 per gallon. The good news was they were out.

People: To enter Nicaragua every visitor must have a passport that is valid for at least 6 months. For U.S. citizens a visa is not necessary. When to go: Depends on what part of the country you are planning on visiting. Flying during the “Wet” season may be a challenge for IRF and VFR pilots.
