     Ubud, the cultural centre of Balinese life. You should explore it's houses mossy temples, museums and art galleries.  Its artistic heritage stems from when the small kingdom became a Dutch protectorate in 1900.  Ubud is surrounded by lush jungles, rice paddies, and rivers.  The market has been in existence for hundreds of years.  In the evening maybe try Gianyr night market to try some local Cuisine.
