Haleakala & Upcountry Area

    Much of the island food in grown in this region.  You will find vineyards, coffee plantations, Maui onions, and cattle ranches in this area.  the winding road from the top of Haleakala National Park criss-crosses this area.  Every morning you see bicycle riders making the trip downhill.  They stop in one of the many restaurants for breakfast.
