Salt Pond Beach Park
Port Allen Airstrip (PAK)
The Salt Pond Beach Park has the only natural salt ponds in
Hawaii still used to make salt. The park and its facilities are a favorite
place for locals to bring their families. Camping is allowed with a county
permit. The Port Allen Airstrip is next to the beach. The airstrip
has a high volume of tour helicopters, fixed wing aircraft and some skydiving.
