Limahuli Gardens

(808) 826-1053

This garden is part of the National Tropical Botanical Gardens.  The garden is ran by Charles Wichman.  His grandmother, Juliet Rice Wichman donated it to NTBG in 1976.  They have self guided tours for $10.00 or guided tours (by reservation) for $15.00.

The garden features native hawaiian plants, an area for plants brought by the first settlers, and the ancient terrace system built by some of the earliest Hawaiians, estimated to be 700-1000 years old.
