Gatlinburg - Pigeon Forge

     Located on the very north edge of the Smokey Mountains  in the eastern part of Tennessee is the area that has become well known with vacationers.  The towns of Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville. 

     The area is served by the  Gatlinburg - Pigeon Forge airport.  The area is built up like Branson Missouri and has many attractions including Dollywood, Ripley's aquarium, dinner shows such as the Black Bear Jamboree, a Cooter's Garage form the "Duke's of Hazard", and many more man made attractions.

     I my opinion the biggest attraction is the natural attractions such as the Appalachian Trail.  Just a short drive south puts you into beautiful hiking country.  You wont go broke paying for entertainment, and you might even be healthier for the exercise.

     The area has many time share sales and they will scam you if they get the chance so be careful.
