Fifth Bearing Corvair engine

I always wanted a front thrust bearing to support the prop.  There are finally several brands on the market.  I decided to build up another engine using a front bearing and keep my original engine as is and set it on a shelf as a backup.  Click here to see info on the first engine built.

This engine is being made up with the AeroMax Aviation Integral Front Bearing. (pat. pending)  It will also have a rear mounted alternator which is directly driven of the crankshaft like alternators used on many Volkswagen engines.  There is no belt to brake, no bearings to wear out, and it is lighter weight.  The Fifth bearing housing must be installed at Aeromax.
