I have started a web list that will focus on experimental aviation. Initially the one list will cover airframes, powerplants, and test flights. If the list should become large enough to need it I will split them into multiple lists. Everybody is welcome to join this list. I ask that the subject line of every post be accurate. If someone posts about something your not interested in just delete the post without reading it.
For many years I have invited all manner of friends into my house. I have one rule. You can discuss differences, exchange opinions, state your views, etc but everyone respects all the other people there. If they don't they are asked to leave. The same rule applies here. I will not agree with, like, or recommend everyone who may be on this list but they will be treated with respect. There will be no personal attacks or the attacker will be removed from the list. As with all lists the owner gets to make the final decision. That's me.
The second rule is that the purpose of the list is to exchange information and ideas about experimental aviation. Posts should be about aviation. Long posts should be about experimental aviation. There are many social networks better suited to discuss politics, religion, world affairs, etc.
Feel free to discuss KR2s, Super KR2s, Sonexs, Zeniths, Volksplanes, Piets, or new designs. Just put the type in the subject line. Likewise, all types of powerplants can be discussed.
If you represent a company and you want to tell the list specifics about how a product could solve someone's problem that is ok, but no blatant Selling of products. It is certainly acceptable to make a post directing someone to your website. Please state what is available and tested now and what is under development.
All posts must be signed with your full name and what you are building, flying, managing, or interested in.
The archives will be searchable for previous posts. As with any list feel free to delete the things you don't need now then go back later and search the archives if your interests change.
