I originally purchased the plans for the Volksplane years ago.  I never actually started the project.  It has always seemed like it would be a fun airplane to fly.  The ability to fold the wings and transport the plane back to your house made it a very affordable plane.

    In the process of working on my KR2 project, I have came up with many parts, and materials which could be used for the Volksplane.   This will greatly reduce the cost of the plane.

   Chandra and Mark have started helping me with my planes.  This has given me the ability to start construction of this plane.  Construction will probably not be quick, but hopefully steady.

    Because all of us are above the standard 170 lb pilot weight the FAA uses, The plane will be widened for comfort and safety.  The plane will be a combination if VP1, VP2, and KR construction.  We are currently cutting parts for the plane and gathering the parts.
