I originally purchased the plans for the Volksplane years ago.  I was slow starting the project.  It has always seemed like it would be a fun airplane to fly.  The ability to fold the wings and transport the plane back to your house makes it a very affordable plane.

In the process of working on my KR2 project, I have came up with many parts, and materials which could be used for the Volksplane.   This will greatly reduce the cost of the plane.

Chandra, Mark, and I are in the process of building this plane now.  This gives us a fun plane to practice our taildragger skills.  Its a great Sunday afternoon flyer.

Construction has progressed to the point we are mounting the Gear and engine.  I am starting to add info to my pages on the left.  Check back often for updates.     We plan on doing our flight tests at Jesup airport

Flying the VP-1 is an article from the April 1971 issue of Sport Aviation.
