I had the old motor mount from the KR project which
would fit the Dan Diehl case but it did not fit the VP firewall. We needed
to make a jig to hold the pads in alignment, cut the tubes, make new bottom
pads, and weld the tubes back into place. We also wire brushed the
paint off all the tubes for the welding and repainting.
