Altos de Chavon
This is the most visited tourist spot in the Southeast. High above the Rio Chavon sits this mock 16th-century Mediterranean village. It was built in 1976. Some people say it was built as a birthday gift to the daughter of the owners of the Casa de Campo, others say it was built to give Casa de Campo guests something to look at.
